BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS  

The Building Automation Systems Division of EMS primary focus is to provide our customers fully integrated automatic temperature, lighting, and equipment control systems by utilizing direct digital controls and support to meet all of their needs.  

EMS has 28 years experience conceptualizing, designing, and implementing control systems and strategies.  We perform our own technical installation, start-up and commissioning, warranty, and service work.

All programming is developed and implemented locally, enabling us to immediately respond to our customers changing needs.

As systems integrators, we are experienced in integrating between other control systems, building sub-systems, and microprocessor controlled equipment.  We are accomplished in providing all of the following:

  • Installation of Building Automation Systems in new construction projects and on retrofits

  • Lighting control systems

  • Internet access to building automation systems including cell phone or PDA web browsers and e-mail receipt of building alarms

  • Tenant billing services for after hour usage

  • Data Center and Telecom controls including temperature, humidity, and power monitoring

  • Design build temperature control projects

  • Power Monitoring and verification systems

  • Maintenance and service of all temperature control systems

  • Software Fitness Program to eliminate software obsolescence

  • Building Automation System Training Programs

  • Technical support for all of our installed systems, including periodic site visitation and remote support via modem or internet

We offer a wide range of technical support and service to meet our customers’ needs, with Technical Support Agreements tailored to meet your needs and insure you the maximum support when you need it most.  Our agreements can include all of the following:

    • Periodic site visits and telephone support
    • Training of your building staff
    • 24 hour monitoring
    • Repair labor
    • Repair parts and materials
    • System calibration and adjustment
    • Control loop tuning and adjustment
    • Preventative maintenance checks
    • Emergency monitoring and service
